The new building which will be used for the 2009 vinifications is
finished. The contemporary design chosen by Olivier and Corinne Merlin,
fits perfectly into the village of La-Roche-Vineuse.

The weather in 2008 was capricious. Even so, today we have the result
- red and white wines that are straightforward, clean, and with
well-marked aromatic qualities. Last September's sun did its work well. 2008 is a good vintag which revels revels the "terroirs" : crus from the beaujolais, the the Mâconnais and Bourgogne.

Moulin à Vent (Editorial published 23/06/2008)
- The domaine's holding has been increased by the addition of 0.25 ha of Moulin à Vent, part of the named plot “La Rochelle”.

Vines in flower (article published 23/06/2008)
- The first flowers appeared on the domaine on May 31st in our parcel of Saint-Véran Le Grand Bussière. The other parcels duly followed but flowering was staggered over as much as three weeks in some plots, and in the end flowering dates overall lagged a little behind a normal year.

- Our passionate commitment to ever-better performance is stronger than ever. To improve our working arrangements and our wines we have decided to build a new winery.

We are confidently optimistic as to the quality of the 2007 vintage, both reds and whites. The whites will be attractive and well-built; the reds will have fruit, lusciousness, and a clean, well-defined nose.
