Nose highly aromatic with notes of exotic fruits.
Mouth well-fruited and supple with white peach aromas.
A refreshing wine to be drunk within 2-3 years.
Terroir
A blend of grapes from different Mâconnais locations: La Roche-Vineuse, Prissé, Chaintré - all Quaternary clay-limestone soils.
Culture
Grape variety: Chardonnay
Planting density: 8,000 vines per hectare
Average yield: 50 hl/ha
Picking by hand
Vinification
Direct pressing of whole crop.
Settling: 60% in stainless steel vats and 40% in oak barrels.
Complete malolactic fermentation.
Racking followed by light filtration and bottling.
Elevage: 9 months. No finings.
