Tasting notes
Fine bluish-red colour, deep and intense.
Mouth full and harmonious with aromas of pepper, flowers (peony), and well-ripened cherries.
Already a very likeable wine but one which will be at is best in 2009-2010.

Granitic (Monzonitic) soil.
Exposure: south-east
Altitude: 280 m

Planting density: 1,100 plants per hectare

Picking by hand
Vinification
Triage on sorting table.
Vatting of whole crop.
Alcoholic fermentation under CO2 in wooden vats.
Pumping-over twice daily. Vatting lasts 15 days.
Pressing following by transfer to oak barrels (15% new wood).
Malolactic fermentation in barrel. Elevage in barrel last 10 months, followed by 4 months in stainless-steel vats.
Racking, light filtration, bottling.
No finings.
